Where can I pickup my order?

We bring orders directly to several convenient pickup spots in Madison, Monona, Beloit, and right here at our farm in Mineral Point: Madison (Dane County Farmers Market on Wednesdays, Willy Street Co-op North on Tuesdays, West Towne Mall on Tuesdays), Monona (Ahuska Park on Sundays), Beloit (Beloit Farmers Market on Saturdays), and Mineral Point (Directly at Keller Farm on Fridays).

Do you offer home delivery?

No, we do not offer home delivery at the moment. Take advantage of our convenient pickup locations and market stops!

What do your Berkshire pigs and sheep eat?

Accepted Answer

Our Berkshire hogs are pasture-raised and fed a custom grain mix of corn, soybean meal, and minerals that we mix and grind ourselves right on the farm. Our hair sheep graze grass pastures year-round and receive just a small grain supplement during extreme winter months to keep their weight up.

Do you use routine antibiotics or growth hormones?

No. We do not use growth hormones or routine antibiotics. Taking care of our animals is a daily responsibility, so if an animal gets sick, we treat them humanely to bring them back to health, but we don't give unnecessary additives to healthy animals.

Question 5

What makes your lamb meat taste different from store-bought lamb?

We raise hair sheep (Katahdin and Dorper cross) rather than traditional wool breeds. Hair sheep produce a mild, tender meat without the strong, gamey 'mutton' flavor that turns many people away from lamb.
